It's VALunteer Day! It's about teamwork, and getting things done—together. It’s a dedicated volunteer day where friends, co-workers, and willing helpers pitch in to support VAL with ongoing projects around the house that could use a few extra sets of hands. From organizing, moving things around, and light repairs to creative projects and seasonal events.
And it doesn’t end when the work is done. As the Sun sets, the music sets the tone for the evening, and a family meal by the firepit is a MUST!
Take a chance to slow down, share food, and look around at everything that was accomplished. It’s a moment of gratitude, to reflect on how everyone’s time, effort, and willingness to help truly made a difference in the space.
It’s about showing up, lending a hand, and enjoying the satisfaction (and fun) that comes from helping out, together.
